Fused Glass “Millefiori Party” Pendants

These unique pendants are hand-made in my studio by fusing different types of glass together with murrine glass at very high temperatures.

Murrine glass is made by layering different colours of molten glass around a core, then heating and stretching it into a rod, the design then is revealed when the cane is cut into thin cross sections. The Millefiori (thousands of flowers in Italian) is the murine cane made with a floral design.

As I don't have the facilities to make my own canes I buy the cut murrine and then I incorporate them on my designs.

Each of this pendants is a one off piece as the way the glass is put together it makes it impossible to repeat the combination of colours and patterns so not two are the same!

When the pieces are finished a silver plated bail is fixed to them and completed the necklace with a chain.

Pendant size:: 1.7 x 3.0cms approx including bail and they come with either a silver plated or silver chain.

Due to the nature of the raw material and because this items are handmade slight colour variations from the pictures may be apparent, adding to the bespoke uniqueness of your piece.
