Fused Glass Oval Pendant and Sterling Silver/Copper Bail

These unique pendants were hand-made in my studio by fusing glass grains of different sizes on a special mould at very high temperatures and on these designs.

They also incorporate murrine and millefiori glass with a heart and a diamond design adding to the uniqueness of the pendants as no two are the same and creating a modern looking pendant.

Murrine glass is made by layering different colours of molten glass around a core, then heating and stretching it into a rod, the design then is revealed when the cane is cut into thin cross sections. The Millefiori (thousands of flowers in Italian) is the murine cane made with a floral design.

As I don't have the facilities to make my own canes I buy the cut murrine and then I incorporate them on my designs.

When the piece is finished I create a bail, using copper or silver, for these pendants I have chosen different patterns for the bails which makes them unique. To complete the necklace I added a double round suede 18" suede necklette with a silver plated extension chain if preferred longer.

This necklaces come in a gift box and they are available in 2 sizes:

Small with millefiori heart and Sterling Silver bail measures 2 x 3.5cms including the bail.

Medium with the green diamond Millefiori is 2.5 x 4cms, including bail

Due to the nature of the raw material and because this items are handmade slight colour variations from the pictures may be apparent, adding to the bespoke uniqueness of your piece.
